Deal a tableau consisting of seven columns. The first column has one card face up. The second column has six cards, third seven, fourth eight, etc. Flip the top five cards of each column face up. There should be no remaining cards. Leave space above the tableau for the four foundations.
Foundations build from ace upwards, in the same suit. Any card can be moved in the tableau from one column to another as long as it is one rank lower and the opposite color than the top card of the column it is being moved to. When a card is moved, it brings with it all the cards above it. Kings may be placed in empty depots. Whenever the top card of a column is face down, flip it up.
Win: All cards have been moved to the foundations
Loss: There are no valid moves remaining on the tableau, and not all cards have been moved to the foundations.
