Remove all the aces from the deck and set them face up in a row. These are the foundations. Deal four cards, one nearward of each foundation. This is the beginning of the tableau.
The topmost card of each tableau pile is available for play onto the foundations. The foundations are built from ace up to king, regardless of suit. Cards may not be moved between tableau piles. When there are no moves available, the next card is turned over from the stock. It must be played to the foundations if possible, or played onto one of the tableau piles (there are no placement qualifications).
When the stock is depleted, if there are no moves remaining, the game is lost. If all cards are played onto the foundations, the game is won.
