The first player draws one card, either from the top of the stock or the discard pile. They may replace one card in their array with it, regardless of whether that card is faceup or facedown. That replaced card is put faceup on the discard pile. Once a facedown card is flipped up in anticipation of a trade, that player must follow through. Play then passes to the left. Once a card is played, there is no way that it can be moved to a different spot on a player’s array. Once all of one player’s cards have been flipped faceup, then the round ends immediately, and all other players flip over any remaining facedown cards. Players then tally the score, keeping in mind the point values listed below and that two cards of the same rank located in a vertical column are each worth zero, even if they are twos.
